Terms of Service

1. Parties

This agreement is concluded between the service provider identified below and the user who registers on qrkarekod.com.

2. Definitions

Static QR code — carries data inside itself and cannot be changed after creation. Dynamic QR code — points to a permanent short address on our servers; its destination can be edited later. Short code — the unique address component embedded in a dynamic QR code, which can never be changed. Scan — a redirect request produced by scanning a dynamic code that passes our bot filter.

3. Membership

You must be 18 or older to register. Under-18s may register only with the consent of a parent or guardian. You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide and for the security of your account.

4. Scope of service

Short-code immutability. Once a dynamic QR code is created, the short address embedded in it is permanent. The service provider undertakes never to change that address and never to reassign an issued short code to another user. You may change the destination the code points to at any time.

5. Pricing and limits

When your scan limit is reached, dynamic QR codes stop redirecting and people scanning them see a notice page explaining the situation. The code is not deleted; upgrading your plan or the start of a new period brings the same code back to life with no action needed.

You are notified by email at 80% of your limit and when it is reached. Keeping a valid email address on your account is your responsibility.

All prices are in Turkish Lira and include VAT.

6. Your obligations

You are solely responsible for the content your QR codes point to. You agree not to use the service for phishing, malware distribution, fraud, copyright infringement, violation of personal rights, hate speech or unlawful content, and to hold the necessary rights to any logo or image you upload.

7. Intellectual property

The software, design, name and logo of qrkarekod.com belong to the service provider. The QR code images you create and the content you upload belong to you. QR Code® is a registered trademark of DENSO WAVE Incorporated.

8. Continuity and liability

The service provider takes reasonable technical measures to keep redirection running (redundant cache, database and an on-disk fallback routing map) and announces significant maintenance in advance.

Liability is in all cases limited to the total amount you paid in the preceding 12 months. This limit does not apply in cases of intent or gross negligence.

Costs arising from your printed materials, signage or packaging are yours. Test the generated code with your own device before sending it to print; the built-in scannability check is an aid, not a guarantee of print results.

9. Suspension and termination

You may close your account at any time. The service provider may suspend or terminate an account for breach of this agreement, the Acceptable Use Policy or applicable law. Except for urgent and serious violations, you are given reasonable time to remedy the situation first.

10. Governing law

Turkish law applies. The courts and enforcement offices of İstanbul have jurisdiction. For users qualifying as consumers, Consumer Arbitration Committees and Consumer Courts have jurisdiction within the applicable monetary thresholds.
