Create a business card QR code

The problem with a printed card is retyping. A QR business card reduces it to one tap. There are two routes: a static vCard writes the contact record into the code itself; a digital card opens a page with your photo, title and links — so when you change jobs you update the page instead of binning a box of cards.

How to do it

    Enter your details

    Name, title, company, phone, email, address. A digital card also takes a photo, a short bio and social links.

    Pick a design

    On a card the code is small; rounded modules with high error correction scan more reliably at that size. The ready-made "Business card" template ships with those settings.

    Download vector and print

    Use PDF or SVG for the printer. Do not crop the quiet zone around the code — it makes scanning harder.

Static vCard or digital card?

A static vCard works offline and saves straight to contacts, but a change of details means new cards. A digital card needs internet and in return stays editable — and tells you how many people scanned it.

Does it save straight to contacts?
With a static vCard, yes — the phone offers to save the contact. A digital card saves via a button on the page.
What if I change jobs?
With a digital card you update the page and the printed cards stay valid.
How large should the code be on a card?
At least 20 mm on each side. Smaller than that and scanning distance drops sharply.
