Create a Google review QR code

Most review requests are lost to friction: the customer agrees, then never searches for your business. This code removes the search — whoever scans it lands on the star rating screen.

Find your business

Type the business name and city, then pick it from the list.

We do not offer review gating — it breaches Google's policies and misleads customers. The page sends everyone straight to Google.

How to do it

  1. 1

    Find your business

Type the name and pick it from the list; the Google Place ID is filled in for you. You can also enter the ID by hand.

  2. 2

    Add other platforms

You can include links such as Tripadvisor so the person chooses where to leave the review.

  3. 3

Put it on the receipt or table

Print a small card using the framed "Leave a review" template. Saying what the code is for lifts scan rates noticeably.

Where the line is

Google bans review gating — funnels that filter out unhappy customers — and penalises profiles that use it. That is why there is deliberately no "ask for a rating first" flow here: everyone lands on the same screen.

Frequently asked

Where do I find my Place ID?
Just type the business name and pick it from the list; we resolve the ID.
Can I see how many people scanned?
Yes. The code is dynamic, so scans appear in your dashboard by day and device.
Can I offer a gift for a review?
Google's policy prohibits incentivised reviews. Asking is fine; paying for it is risky.
