Campaign and coupon QR code

Embedding a promo code directly in the code means binning everything you printed when the campaign ends. The coupon type points at a page instead: change the campaign, keep the code. When it ends you can leave the code showing an "expired" page rather than a dead link.

This code carries one of our short addresses, and that address is only reserved for you once you save.

How to do it

  1. 1

    Write the offer

Headline, discount code, terms and expiry. Spelling out the terms ends the argument at the till before it starts.

  2. 2

Add an image and a destination

A campaign image and, optionally, a link straight to the purchase.

  3. 3

    Separate your channels

Produce separate codes for the window, the flyer and the invoice, and tag them with UTM parameters to see which one works.

"How many people used it"

Scans and redemptions are not the same number. We measure scans; whether the code was used at the till is known to your sales system. Giving each channel its own discount code is the practical way to join the two.

Frequently asked

What do I do when the campaign ends?
Update the page with the next offer, or pause the code — a paused code shows a page saying the campaign has finished.
Does the expiry date enforce itself?
The date is shown on the page. To switch the code off on a date, add a time rule.
Can each customer get a unique code?
Yes — bulk generation produces thousands of unique codes and pages.
